MÜHLENTHAL (MILL VALLEY)

Mill Valley is one of the less conspicuous yet historically highly significant parts of Jáchymov. For centuries, this was the industrial heart of the town – home to grain mills, paper mills, wire works, smelting facilities and other production sites.
BRAUNSTEIN – MAIDEN’S LEAP

The rocky outcrop above the railway tunnel is one of the oldest historically documented sites in the Jáchymov region. It combines the story of a medieval watchtower with spa-era walking traditions and several powerful legends that gave the place its present name, Maiden’s Leap.

Pfarrwiese is one of the geologically and historically remarkable yet largely unknown sites in the Jáchymov region. Its remoteness has contributed to its relative obscurity, despite being mentioned in the earliest records of the town.
